Buen Fin 2026 for Businesses: A Marketing Checklist to Sell from November 13 to 17

Mexico's Buen Fin 2026 takes place from November 13 to 17, bringing five days of promotions and shopping opportunities for businesses across the country. But a successful campaign takes more than attractive discounts.

A slow mobile page, outdated business hours or unanswered inquiries can cost you sales, even when your offers are competitive.

Whether you sell in Mexico through a local team or operate from abroad, this checklist covers six essential areas to prepare your digital strategy, avoid common mistakes and make the most of El Buen Fin.

Buen Fin Mexico 2026: Key dates and merchant registration

Before launching your campaign, make sure your business is registered and your team is prepared for the five-day sales period.

    November 12: Merchant registration deadline, 11:59 p.m.

    November 13: Buen Fin begins

    November 14–15: Weekend sales

    November 16: Mandatory public holiday

    November 17: Final day

Registration is free through elbuenfin.org and must be completed before the deadline. Monday's public holiday is also worth considering when planning customer support and campaign operations.

To put the opportunity into perspective, approximately 216,000 businesses participated in 2025, generating 219.2 billion pesos in sales, according to Mexico's Ministry of Economy and Concanaco.

The quick test: How many points are ready today

Count how many of these six points you have solved today. The result tells you where to start.

Points readyWhat it meansWhat to do first
5 or 6In good shapeReview the pending point and test everything from a phone
3 or 4Room to improve, with gapsClose the offer and customer response first
0 to 2Time left, but you must prioritizeStart with the offer and an owner for inquiries

If you ticked fewer than half, that is fine. There is still room if you follow the right order.

A clear offer with an end date

This decision feeds everything else, so it comes first. A clear offer can be understood in one read, because it says what is included, how much shoppers save, until when it applies and under which conditions.

Check three things. The benefit must be concrete, since 20% off the whole store is clear and big discounts is not. The conditions must be visible, because Profeco, Mexico's consumer protection agency, monitors promotions. And the offer must look identical on your site, ads, social media and point of sale. Buen Fin promotions commonly include discounts or interest-free installments, so state which one applies.

If your team works in English, publish the offer and your support in Spanish and show prices in pesos.

    A fast mobile site

A well-built campaign is wasted if the page that receives the traffic is slow to open or awkward on a phone.

The test is simple. Open your site on a phone using mobile data, find your star product and go through the process to payment or the contact form. Note every point where you waited, zoomed in or retyped something, and check that the offer is visible from the homepage. If you run a Mexico ecommerce store from abroad, confirm checkout works in Spanish and shows pesos.

    Scheduled campaigns

There is no time to build ads from scratch during the event. Load each campaign, review it and set start and end dates before Friday the 13th, because an ad rejected that day is a lost day.

Each campaign needs an offer, a landing page and an end date, since one without an end keeps spending after the offer is gone.

    An updated Google Business Profile

During Buen Fin, the first thing someone sees when looking for a nearby business is your Google profile. With outdated hours, they arrive at a closed door and the negative review is not far behind.

    • Special hours for November 13 to 17, including Monday the 16th.
    • Recent photos of your products or location.
    • A post with the offer and its end date.
    • Reviews waiting for a reply.

Our SEO service includes optimizing your local presence.

    Content for all 5 days

Producing content during the event leads to improvising. Have one piece per day ready before Friday and use the event days to reply and adjust.

One possible rhythm. Friday, the kickoff with the main offer. Saturday, the most searched products. Sunday, a customer story. Monday, a reminder with urgency, because it is a day off. Tuesday, the final call with a countdown.

    Fast response to every inquiry

An unanswered inquiry is a sale that goes to the competition. During Buen Fin, questions arrive through WhatsApp, social media, email, phone and the website. Define who answers each channel, how fast and what that person does when the question is not theirs. Inquiries will arrive in Spanish, so assign someone who can answer in Spanish, with ready-made replies for availability, delivery and payment methods.

A checklist to share with your team

Save this table and pass it to whoever owns each point. The priority follows the order in the next section.

Where to start depending on your time

The priority order is an editorial recommendation, because the offer feeds everything else.

    • If you have one day: Define the offer with its end date and assign someone to answer inquiries.
    • If you have three days: Add the mobile site test and your Google profile.
    • If you are reaching November 12: Schedule campaigns and content, and confirm your registration, which closes that day.

After the 17th: From buyer to repeat customer

Buen Fin ends on Tuesday the 17th, but the work does not. Save the data of everyone who bought or asked in a CRM, thank them, ask for a review and keep the conversation going until the next season. Buen Fin 2026 is won before November 13

Buen Fin 2026 is won before it starts. With a clear offer, a fast mobile site, scheduled campaigns, a current Google profile, content ready and someone answering every inquiry, your business reaches Friday the 13th without putting out fires mid-event.
